This is the official website of St. Joseph's Scholasticate, home to the Oblates studying Philosophy, Religious Studies and Theology. The Oblates in Africa, through the grace of God, have experienced a growth in vocation in the past few years. This has lead to the opening of a new Novitiate in Namibia. This year there were 22 brothers who professed from both novitiates, Johannesburg and Namibia. You can meet all our newly professed Oblate Scholastics by visiting our Photo Gallery.

The First profession for any Religious is a very special experience. You can share in this experience by reading the articles written by two brother.
